The Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons (LCPS) will host its 10th Annual General Scientific Meeting (AGSM) on 17, September 2026 at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, Monrovia, under the theme:
Resilient, Equitable, and Sustainable Health Systems for Liberia 2030.
The AGSM is the College’s premier scientific forum, bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, development partners, educators, and trainees to foster collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and advance evidence-informed healthcare. It will showcase innovative approaches to addressing Liberia’s current and emerging health challenges.
The scientific program will provide a platform for presenting original research, quality improvement initiatives, clinical experiences, healthcare innovations, educational advancements, and policy perspectives that contribute to strengthening Liberia’s health system. Through the dissemination of evidence and shared learning, the program seeks to inform policy and practice while advancing resilient, equitable, and sustainable health systems in line with Liberia’s Vision 2030. The scientific program will be organized around the following three thematic tracks:
Health Systems Strengthening and Financing
Health Workforce, Education, and Digital Health
Emergency Preparedness, Climate Change, and One Health
Abstract Submission
